Introduction:
We seek for a candidate with strong experience on backend technologies for designing and implementing data aggregation and processing cloud microservices for the above prototype.
Responsibilities:
- Steer the design and development phases of the Santane backend data processing platform for Digital Twin applications.
- Participate in meetings related to the product and interact with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with front-end developers at later stages of prototype development.
Qualifications:
- BSc (first class or 2.1) and MSc/PhD in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering / Software Engineering or any related discipline.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Amazon AWS certification
Essential:
- Experience with cloud microservices and container technologies using Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS
- Experience with Python, Java and/or C/C++, Erlang, Go, Ruby
- Experience with databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Desired:
- Knowledge of industrial data communication protocols (e.g., ModBus, BACnet, Fox/Tridium, Siemens S7).
- Knowledge of network security protocols (e.g., IPSec, SSL).
- Experience on data science technologies (e.g., Machine Learning).
- Experience with UNIX system administration
- Experience with network administration and network protocols.
