Santane is awarded a framework agreement with one of Europe's largest multidisciplinary research organisations which support scientists and engineers worldwide. The group operates world-class large-scale research facilities; provides strategic advice to the government on their development and manages international research projects in support of a broad cross-section of the UK research community.
Santane’s Engineering Design and Drawings team comprises of specialists with extensive experience in problem solving, detail design, manufacturing drawings, product development, and in advanced engineering.
We have provided CAD solutions across different industries including Refineries, FPSOs, Engineering Production, manufacturing and Automotive by taking their new designs, existing CAD files or 3D scanned objects and have changed them to match their requirements.
The scope of work in the framework includes engineering design and drawing requirements for the delivery of discreet packages of work to the client. It includes:
- Develop detailed CAD Models from the existing concept that are manufacture-able using conventional machining techniques.
- Detail and assembly drawings to be used for the manufacture.
- Designing components for cryogenics, which includes cleanliness, mechanisms, shrinkage, material selection and calculation or understanding of loads exerted on components, heat transfer, safety.
- Take a concept design and turn it into a design for manufacture.
